Digital Materiality

(this artwork was completed in 2010 I leave it here, not to showcase current skills but to show my lasting experience with technology and design)

In this art experience people are able to interact with virtual objects in ways that allows them to explore textures, connections, and forms. Like digital clay, this interactivity promotes exploration via the use of gestures and hand movements. Because of the importance of materials to architecture, the interactive object navigates through video captures of the buildings architectural space. Thus the object that the person transforms in realtime “comes to life” in the existing space that surrounds them. This allows for a unique interactive experience that is also immersive and talks about how media arts can relate to architecture.
