Timekeeper explores concepts of time and its relation to the human experience and makes those relations visible.
Approximately 40 hours of animations, videos, generative visualizations and live feeds.

This project is sited within the public plaza of the Westage mixed-use development in Old Town Pasadena – The Artwork was carefully integrated into the architecture and it has been on displayed everyday since 2015 and still going strong. I was responsible for creating the artwork and the intelligent playback system that visualizes the data from JPL and CalTech. I was also responsible for managing the project from start to finish making sure we met project deadlines and solved any outstanding issues before the launch. The content was a combination of filming on site and in studio, animations inspired by science and time, and generative visualizations using incoming data. The playback system is unique in that the content never plays back in the same sequence giving the visitors of Pasadena and the people that live there a unique experience.

The project was greatly received by the City Of Pasadena who published it on their Public Art Catalog and it won the 2015 top 100 Collaboration of Design + Art Video Awards.
