The project

Bring the urgency of climate change into the room.

Datum Line was created for the Time Space Existence exhibition at Palazzo Mora during the Venezia Biennale of Architecture.

The installation combines projected ocean imagery, environmental data, and architecture to expand the gallery into a seemingly borderless space. In Venice, where water is part of daily life, changing ocean levels become immediate rather than abstract.

The contribution

A shared creative direction carried through image, space, and story.

The project was developed collaboratively at NarduliStudio. These roles describe Sebastian's credited contribution while recognizing the shared nature of the work.

01

Co creative direction

Worked with the head of NarduliStudio to develop and guide the experience, connecting the project goals to the spatial, visual, and media direction.

02

Art direction

Shaped a coherent visual language across projected media, spatial composition, atmosphere, and storytelling.

03

Content creation

Created and refined the visual material connecting ocean imagery, environmental information, and the architecture of Palazzo Mora.

The result

Climate data experienced at the scale of the body.

The completed installation surrounded visitors with moving ocean imagery and transformed the architecture into a stage for the story. It made environmental urgency present through movement, scale, light, and place.
