Transpose

We wanted to bring to life the incredible architecture and decorations of the Ace historical theater in Downtown, Los Angeles. Using modern Laser Scanning technologies we capture a cloud of millions of data points that spatially represented the theater. By using modern technologies and realtime mapping we were able to bring data driven digital visuals and animations to the existing architectural space, creating a visual marriage between the old and the new. The theater was a technological achievement in its time, it was important to bring back the awe and excitement that once existed when people walked into the theater. This was accomplished when we started hearing the sounds of the crowd when we presented the experience.
